Maintenance and repairs were needed to Marple Bridge, an historic bridge spanning the River Goyt in Stockport. A survey was required to assess the works, without causing major disruption to the traffic flow and businesses within the area.
We were able to demonstrate that our team could survey the bridge and carry out the necessary repair works via rope access. The team at Stone Central are trained and qualified in these working methods and have applied their expertise working in this way across numerous projects.
Project Detail
Rope access meant that our client saved money by removing the need for costly, extensive scaffolding. It also meant that the client did not have to apply for road closures and the work could be completed with minimum disruption to the public.
Once the survey was conducted and we identified the scope of work required, we were able to perform the pointing work, vegetation removal and general maintenance that the bridge required.
