Westminster Chambers in Liverpool is a Gothic style building that was completed in 1880. The building had stood empty for some years before being converted to student flats. It is built with grey rusticated stone with buff stone dressings , granite window shafts and yellow brick stacks.
Project Detail
The top section of the building was in a serious state of disrepair and had begun to crumble and become unsafe. Stone Central were appointed to make it safe, repair and restore it. We removed the top sections completely including pediment and lintels. The original terracotta and stonework was then restored and replaced and the finish is seamless, you would never know it had been removed and rebuilt. The building has been made safe and will be secure for many years to come.
